Our story began in the Fall of 2019 when we started our Freshman year of college! We both moved into the dorms at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and were neighbors on the 5th floor of CTE. We had never met before college, but quickly became friends first semester! We made so many memories hanging out our Freshman year, but unfortunately, COVID sent us both back to our hometowns in March of 2020. We kept in touch over the summer, and towards the end, realized we both had feelings for each other!

Upon moving back to Kearney for school in August of 2020, we constantly hung out, and of course, went on lots of Chick-fil-a dates. :) We officially started dating on October 13th, 2020 and have been together ever since! During our 3 1/2 years of dating, we spent our time getting our degrees, playing/watching UNK football games, traveling, cooking food together, and we even got a cat!

Fast forward to April of 2024 - we planned a spontaneous trip to Colorado Springs, CO! Then, on May 3rd 2024 Jon proposed at Garden of the Gods!!! It was such an amazing day and weekend spent together. We're so excited for the future and are SO glad to be spending it together. <3
